Ready for some Monday cuteness? The Fernandez boys came to visit at the studio for a sweet session. From the outfit choices to the drum session what is not to love about these two. It was an afternoon where we got to see two personalities shine through and some wonderful brotherly love. Not to mention the music session, as these two jammed out I captured their inquisitiveness and love for music. There really is nothing like seeing the love of two brothers together and I can't wait to see these little men grow up.
Lauren and Bo's Epic Hotel wedding in Miami was the perfect blend of classic meets modern. I started the morning with the bride and her wonderful entourage who also got ready at the Epic Hotel. Jaws dropped when Lauren put on her Inbal Dror gown from Chic Parisien with beautiful hair and makeup by Karla Lola. Did I ever mention how much I adore a first look? Spending time with Lauren and Bo before their 'I Do's around the gorgeous grounds of the hotel made for some wonderful moments between this bride and groom.
From the ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church of Miami back to the Epic Hotel for the reception, no detail was overlooked in the event planning by Eric Trelles of ET Events. The floral design by EC Florals brought some vibrant color against the black color palette that was perfection for this modern setting. A spectacular cake by Cakes by Edda was truly the icing on the cake to this celebration followed by a dance party that kept everyone on their dancing feet with music by Event Factor.

Moody skies, plenty of laughs and smiles Lauren and Kyle's South Beach engagement photos were a mix of love and style. I love when my couples truly get lost in the moment. I am just there for the journey and along the way I get to capture those memorable candid moments. Lauren and Kyle were naturals, and their chemistry was undeniable. We ended on the perfect note, with the most stunning sunset at South Pointe Park. Enjoy this evening filled with pure, adoring love.
As seen on Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, this Versace Mansion wedding inspiration was also aptly titled Versace Vixen. We did this styled shoot at The Villa Casa Casuarina, the former Versace Mansion in Miami. It's luxury meets sexy as we started the day with some stunning lingerie by La Perla and a vintage fur stole with our gorgeous bride and groom models from MP Mega Miami Models.
Classic meets elegant and modern, styling by Lina Rodriguez and Haute Marche created a few different looks to inspire. Gowns by Chernaya Bridal and J Del Olmo, Shoes by Guiseppe Zanotti, beautiful accessories by Maria Elena, and rings by Dadlani Jewels. Deborah Conception created hair and makeup looks to match and the results were a dream. I can't forget about the groom who was dapperly dressed in Miguel Wilson.
Gilded Group turned the space into an opulent day dripping with red roses along with, rentals from Atlas Party Rentals, stunning chair back covers from Nuage Designs, specialty chairs from M The Collection, regal paper design by Ceci Johnson and incredible lighting my Maxon Events. The suspended wedding cake by ET Cakes was truly the icing on the cake for this styled day.
This shoot is all luxury, fashion, and style brought together by an incredible team of creatives. Truly a breathtaking collaboration and I for one cannot wait to come back and capture a wedding at this amazing Miami wedding venue.
I spent a sweet, sunshine filled afternoon with this handsome little man. Louis rocked his white overalls with a polo and without. It was all play and his curiosity of the world around him was the sweetest thing to see. From exploring a baseball, the blades of grass and the pathway beneath him, nothing stopped Louis's inquisitiveness. And just look at those lashes. One of the best things about capturing a child is their uncanny ability to just be in the moment. More days like this, please.
Being in the moment. That is exactly what Ashley and Nick were a constant reminder of during their Tree Tops Park engagement session. Their relaxed demeanor and those love struck looks, it was one of those tranquil afternoons where love took center stage. We walked the beautiful grounds chasing the light and paddling around in a canoe. I loved every second and I am so looking forward to spending the big day with these two.
Kim and Matt's Westin Colonnade wedding is proof that you can have classic meets modern with a dash of whimsy. This entire day was filled with gorgeous details planned by Afrodita's Production. This venue is chic and sleek and one of the details that really added to the space, the pops of color in the floral design by Marcia Fernandez from Flower International Events. Matt I loved your
What's better then first birthday photos? Nothing. Just look at how adorable Nico is. He came dressed to the nines starting out his shoot in nautical attire and ready to pose. Crawling, standing, laughing and just the sweetest demeanor. He also rocked that birthday suit and took part in devouring a delicious birthday cake covered in frosting. Does this not sound like the best day ever? I had the best time with this little one. I hope I can continue to photograph him and capture those milestones for year's to come. That is the best part about first birthday photos, they become such treasured memories and just think how good these will look in Nico's senior year book.
Take me back to Greivy and Jonathan's NYC engagement photos please! On the most perfect day we strolled through some of NYC's most iconic spots. These two brought their A game when it came to fashion and style. It was all about the glam and elegance. With those come hither looks, sexy glances and a fierce love for each other, nothing swayed their eyes off one another amidst the hustle and bustle. Rooftops, the city sidewalks, the beauty of Grand Central Station, a row boat and ending the day at dusk at Central Park made this day an unforgettable one. Can you begin to imagine what their wedding day might be like?! Bring on all the glam, all the elegance, I can't wait to see what their big day has in store.

I was looking forward to Ashley & Izik's wedding since their engagement photo session at the Perez Art Museum in Miami. On the wedding day we planned for an outdoor ‘First Look’ but the weather had a completely different idea. As a photographer, I am always ready for plan B and so I found all the best alternative spots and captured many editorial style wedding portraits. When Ashley told me her images were "sick", I knew that was a good thing! Oh, and even sicker was our surprise celebrity guest. Ashly and Izik’s wedding at the W Hotel was sexiness and glam all wrapped up into one.

Looking for the right place to photograph these shoes was challenging until I finally got them balanced them on the headboard. I know that's one sexy headboard. The W Hotel has beautiful light and when I captured the make up shot, I felt like I was looking at the yin & yang symbol.
Although we always want a sunny day, the cloudy afternoon provided a beautiful soft glowing light.
This Galia Lahav fitted dress with pearls that appear to magically float on Ashley's shoulders was high fashion all the way. The matching pearl cuff and chandelier earrings completed the look.
Although not shown here, Izik received a boudoir album entitled "His Eyes Only" with classy and elegant images that I photographed of Ashley at the W Hotel a few months prior to the wedding.
When the couple laugh and cry at the ceremony it's always a good sign. It's even a better sign when you have crowd participation!
Pedal Productions gave this couple just what they wanted, a glamorous, sexy, and intimate ambiance. I loved the reflective table the couple dinned on and I especially loved how all the tables had acrylic mirrored tops!
After a very hyped up intro by Michael from Sarz Entertainment, these two began their first dance to a crowd of their closest friends and family. The joy expressed from these two was so genuine, they were all smiles the entire reception.
Dad's speech was full of humor and sentiment.
As a photographer the parent dances are some of my favorite moments at a wedding. I love when they are emotionally charged, as was the case with Izik and his dance with his mother.
Before Sarz Entertainment took over we were able to capture a group photo.
Ashley was very clear she wanted her portraits to feel as if they were straight out of a fashion magazine. The lobby at the W Hotel in South Beach was the perfect fit. Sleek, modern, and retro at the same time, we captured these fashion style portraits before the wedding ceremony.
I am a strong believer that when you photograph a couple on their wedding day, it is important your request are answered with a yes. As was the case here, I asked the staff member if she would permit me to pose the couple behind her desk. We removed the large iMac that was on the desk in post-production. How can you say no to a room of mirrors and sexy lighting?
Here is another example of attaining a yes on the wedding day. Kevin Heart was friendly and eager to get a photo with these two! My motto is, you can't get a yes if you don't ask. :-)
Surviving a Family Photoshoot
How to make your next family photo session a stress free one.
Family photos can be truly timeless and a great keepsake for future generations. Getting the family together to take those perfect portraits can turn into chaos if not approached correctly. There is usually a lot more to consider when it comes to a family photoshoot since there are members of all ages, which means that there is some extra coordination involved.
Below are some family photoshoot ideas and tips to keep you and your loved ones calm and smiling the whole way through.
1. Timing is everything. If you have younger children involved in the shoot, try and arrange the photoshoot at a time when they would be well rested. A rested child makes for happy photos. On that note, make sure that all family members have gotten enough sleep the night before as this helps with the fun and relaxation aspects of the session.
2. Dos and don’ts of bribery. Get your family excited about the photoshoot instead of offering a reward in return for their cooperation. This tends to lead to forced smiles and an irritated bunch of people. If you do have small children coming along it’s not a bad idea to give the photographer some bribery options in the form of toys or small food items to make those difficult moments a little easier
3. Relinquish control. As much as you’ll want to direct your children on where to stand and how to pose, it’s best to leave that to the photographer as they know what works best. Not having this pressure will also make you feel more relaxed.
4. It’s not just about the posing. The best photos happen when you’re having fun so joke and play with your children, hold your partner’s hand and just let the moments happen.
5. Plan ahead. Discuss all of your requirements with your photographer beforehand so that the family photo session can just flow. Let your photographer know if you want specific pictures taken. Also review wardorbe options to make sure the clothing selected will work for portraits.
6. Keep those sugar levels up. If everyone is well fed, the photoshoot will also run a lot smoother. It’s also not a bad idea to take a few snacks and some water along for those who might need it
Enjoy your portraits.
