On a beautiful sunshine filled day I met up with Mercedes and Chad to celebrate their Baby Penelope turning one! I first met these two for their engagement in 2012, followed by photographing their wedding. It was such a joy to be able to see them again with their newest addition and celebrate sweet Penelope’s first year! This family of three enjoys water views, so that is exactly where we headed for their family portraits. From Penelipe’s adorable romper, sandal moccasins, floral head band and an outfit change into a red tutu dress, there was no shortage of adorable here. Mercedes and Chad, mom and dad look amazing on you both! I can’t wait to see more of these three!
There is nothing I love more then a thoughtful surprise proposal. Frank had one of the top Miami proposal ideas to date, asking Alexandra to be his forever out at sea! There were three foot tall floral letters that spelled our ‘Marry Me’, several phone calls to make sure no detail was over looked, and even scheduling a face time with mom after the proposal. The love and excitement of this surprise proposal was simply palpable. Alexandra thought as they were departing from Miami Beach Marina that she was in store for a relaxing boat ride, little did she know the adventure of a lifetime was about to happen. She said yes! After, Frank and Alexandra finished the evening at Seaspice Miami on the River, and were met by family and friends to celebrate their engagement. Gentleman take note, Frank pulled off the proposal of a lifetime!
Welcome to the world baby James! This is the fourth son to Renee and Gustavo, who have done All Eyes On Me’ sessions (documenting from birth through the first year) with all their boys. There is nothing like the newness of a newborn. Those little toes, hands, and baby features are some of my favorite to capture, so parents can always look back fondly on their littles and this fleeting time. James sleeping game was strong and he was a joy to capture while he happily dreamed. This little man is about to bring so much cuteness to the blog!
Dan and Carlos tied the knot at the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. Their opulant and stylish night celebration is featured over on Inside Weddings! What a joy it was to be part of such a stunning celebration and be able to not only capture but also witness Dan and Carlos’s love. I have had the honor of capturing the Guillermo family since 2013, starting with Bibi and Guillermo’s Bahamas engagement, their 2014 wedding in Coral Gables, their honeymoon in Costa Rica, their first family portrait in 2015 as a family of three with their son, and now their New York City Maternity session with their new baby girl on the way! There is nothing quite like those NYC views and the backdrop of the Brooklyn Bridge. Get ready to feel all the joy and Bibi’s very visible pregnancy glow in this sweet session!
After being together for six years, Jose and Victor chose to have an intimate rooftop south beach wedding at Nautilus, a SIXTY Hotel. Both originally from Mexico, their day was modern, with tropical touches, and the kind of details that make up a very dapper celebration. Jose and Victor’s wedding day vision was beautifully executed by Nicole Hernandez of STARR Catering Group, and I knew when I saw their Cartier wedding bands, this day would be nothing short of stylish. I was right. Wishing these two all the happiness in the world!
Meet Katie and her absolutely adorable family! Katie is a friendor “friend/fellow vendor” from the wedding industry. She is the CEO and girl boss behind Unearthed Vintage, a vintage rental company for weddings and events. Wait until you see all the cuteness that is her son Sawyer James and handsome husband Jovan, who also is a founder of Unearthed Vintage and a designer on the team. I met up with these sweet three at Matheson Hammock Park for a playful afternoon. Families take note, when you are your most relaxed selves and have fun, the camera just soaks it all up! I hope this darling family will look back on this day as fondly as I do for year’s to come!
Get ready for all the cuteness that is three month old Isabel and her beautiful family! This sweet girl came to the studio with her mom and dad for one adorable session. There is nothing better than those sweet baby rolls and a sleeping newborn. Isabel made herself right at home and loved the camera as much as it loved her. We ended with Isabel taking a nap and getting cozy. It was just the sweetest. I can’t wait to capture more of this beautiful growing family!
Sasha and Patrick’s Miami engagement photos were full of that newly engaged glow. They laughed, smiled, danced, and there was no shortage of those adoring looks. We strolled through the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden and then Wynwood, ending the session at The Penthouse at Riverside Wharf, in Downtown Miami. The panoramic views of downtown and the city at night were stunning. It is always fun to be able to shoot in different locations and see those personalities shine through. From the tranquil gardens to the colorful muriel's there was a lot of eye candy. Of course none more captivating then Sasha and Patrick and spending a loved filled afternoon with them.
Since 2008 I have been capturing Sabrina and her family. Family portraits, her and her brother’s communion, her baby sister’s baptism, and now the opportunity to capture Sabrina at one of the best time’s in her life. The bond she has with her little sister is just heart melting, and after hanging out with her favorite little person, we went off to do some of Sabrina’s favorite things. There was holi powder, an under water session, a stroll on the beach and ending her portraits with a a dash of glam after sunset. It is amazing to see this young lady grow up and be part of capturing all of life’s milestones for this wonderful family.

How sweet it is to be 15! I met Nicole at Playa Largo Resort & Spa where she also had her sweet 15 celebration to capture some fun portraits of this birthday milestone. In case you missed Nicole’s Quinceanera, click here. From princess, to goddess, to glam and beachside, Nicole embraced having fun with a variety of different looks. Oh those dresses! One was more beautiful then the next. A floral swing, a horse, a teepee floral setup, were just some of the few amazing props of the day. This day was all the more special because it was uniquely Nicole. We did all the things she loves and I just let her be in her element. I hope she looks back on these portraits fondly. I can’t wait to see what the future brings for you Nicole!
Meet the Messianu Family, Liz, Luis and their adorable daughter, Carolina. Their family session took place at their beautiful home, where there was no shortage of gorgeous settings to capture all the sweetness. Carolina was as cute as can be. Not only was this little beauty loving the camera as much as the camera was loving her, she also has a very special feature. Carolina has Heterochromia iridum, giving her two stunningly different colored eyes. This family of three could easily win for most stylish! I am looking forward to capturing more memories of these three.
Nicole and Francisco came from Long Island for their classic meets elegance, destination wedding at the historic Fontaineblue Miami Beach. You only turn 15 once! Nicole’s quinceanera was celebrated in style and to commemorate her joy for life. We started the day with getting ready and the sweetest moments with her mom and dad. The sweet fifteen party followed at the Playa Largo Hotel & Spa, in Coral Gables. From blue, to pretty in pink to ending the night with sparkle and shine, Nicole’s many dresses were stunning. The ballroom was transformed dripping in florals, pink accents, a gorgeous cake, and dancing the night away. Above all, it was an honor to be present to capture this milestone for Nicole and witness so much love from this beautiful family.
Christina and Francisco’s Coral Gables Colonnade wedding was filled to the brim with classic elegance. Marylen Exposito Weddings beautifully planned every detail from the gorgeous church ceremony at the Coral Gables Congregational Church to the elegant reception transformed with linens by Leyani Wedding & Party Services. Christina definitely had that bridal glow dressed in a gown from Bjou Bridal and hair and makeup by Marz Makeup & Hair. Guests were treated to a night of dancing by DJ Ubi’s Music & Lighting and ending the night with a wonderful cake by Elegant Temptations Cakes. The amazing vendor team also included invitations by The Invitation Stand and video by Pinweel Film Company. Wishing these two a very happy ever after!
Meet adorable newborn Gabriella! This baby girl is the first child of Ana and Eric, click here to look back at their sweet maternity session. This beauty is also now a sister to Ana and Eric’s fur baby dachshund Lola, who also appeared in their maternity photos. There is just nothing like baby toes and hands, those cheeks and all the newborn features. Gabriella made herself right at home at the studio and wait until you see her outfits. I will leave you with all this newborn sweetness, the perfect mid-week pick me up.
I will never tire of getting lost at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens for an engagement session. Carmen and Michael’s love took center stage as we explored and the light beams joined us in the gardens. Their chemistry was palpable, and Carmen looked ever so dreamy dressed in powder blue. After a stroll we stopped and popped the champagne! Before heading off to a second location we headed for the Vizcaya’s water views and took in the gorgeous setting. For part two Carmen and Michael changed into a dressier look and we walked Brickell, stopping for portraits and of course to have fun. It was a romantic filled day and I can’t wait to share the wedding day!
