Love Boat..

As fun as this wedding was for Brooke and Michale and everyone involved, I have to admit I did have a moment of pure fear. After the completion of the wedding ceremony and family portraits, we had a few minutes with the Brooke & Michael to capture their portraits. We had a beautiful afternoon and the weather was just right. I saw in the distance a boat docked and wanted to capture an image of Brooke and Michael aboard. When I approached the boat I noticed some water gathered on the floor. Since, I originally wanted them to sit I had to go to plan “B”, standing. Once I had them in place and I was ready to take the photo, I realized – what if they loose their balance…. what if, they fall in the water! It was at that moment that I had to take a deep breath and just pray that we could get the photo and get them out of the boat with out falling in the water. Yes, she did get her veil wet (as you can see in the photo) but that material dries in no time. Plus she was going to remove it before the reception. After my heart returned to its normal pace, the rest of the night went off with out any glitches. Thanks to the team below who made it a successful event.

Superb, insightful photographic essay. Absolute exquisite shots individually; taken together they are quite breathtaking.
The boat shot, with the story, is vastly entertaining.
As usual, you outdid yourself!! Thank you for capturing the day to the “T”. A beautiful bride, ceremony and a wonderful photographer! 🙂
